Speed issues on Intranet server services: SSH MySQL FTP

Just fix this issues:

Because the server is in a intranet environment.
Every time when connect to services: SSH MySQL FTP
It will take from 20 second to 6 minutes to connect into server.

Which in some case like FTP client will tell you "Time Out"

The reason cause this issues is: Reverse DNS lookup

To fix this:

1.SSH

# sed 's/#UseDNS yes/UseDNS no/g' /etc/ssh/sshd_config -i

# service sshd restart

2.MySQL

# vi /etc/my.cnf

Add:
[mysqld]
skip-name-resolve

3.FTP

# vi /etc/resolv.conf


use "#" to disable the intranet server like:


#nameserver 1.2.3.4

#nameserver 5.6.7.8

Done.
