Fortinet Client VPN enable [Do not Warn Invalid Server Certificate]

Just installed the latest Fortinet Client VPN on my Windows 11. Found the [Do not Warn Invalid Server Certificate] option is grey out.

To enabled it: Open registry (regedit.exe), add a DWORD entry [no_warn_invalid_cert] and set value to 1 registry path "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Fortinet\FortiClient\Sslvpn"

Reboot, and you are good.

Cisco VPN on Ubuntu 14.04 pcf convert to vpnc.conf

1. First Install vpnc client



# apt-get install network-manager-vpnc



2. Then convert a pcf to a vpnc configuration



# pcf2vpnc mds.pcf vpnc.conf



3. Copy the file to /etc/vpnc.conf then run vpnc



# cp vpnc.conf /etc/vpnc.conf
# vpnc



4. To disconnect vpn connection



# vpnc-disconnect
